# Countdown timer {% embed url="" %} In the Sitar theme product template, includes 'Countdown timer' block that displays the product countdown time. 1. From your Shopify admin, go to **Settings** > **Custom data** > **Products**
2. Click **Add definition**
3. In the **Name** field, enter `Product timer`
4. Click **Select type** then select **Date.** 5. Click **Save** to save the definition.
6. You should see the **Product timer** in the list of definitions by now.
## Add the Product timer 1. In your admin, within **Products**, click on the product you want to add the Product details.
2. Scroll down to the **Metafields.** You should see the **Product timer** here. 3. Select date and click **Save** to save your changes
4. Then go to the customization and select the metafield
